The Harrop Ferry will be out of service to exchange a fuel pump.

For a 6 hour period there will be no service

Tuesday July 26 – 11:00 pm   to   Wednesday July 27 – 5:00 am

We anticipate this duration to be the maximum downtime.  Emergency services will be notified.

Western Pacific Marine is advising travellers that the Kootenay Lake Ferries and Arrow Lakes Ferries will be experiencing high traffic volumes from July 29^th to August 1^st owing to the August long weekend.

Owing to increased traffic volume during the Canada Day long weekend (June 30th to July 4th, both dates inclusive), travelers using Kootenay Lake and Arrow Lake Ferry Service may expect sailing delays.  When planning your traveling schedule,  the travelers are advised to take this into consideration.

Please be advised that the Harrop Ferry will be out of service for maintenance

March 4^th up to and including March 27^th, 2011.

A pontoon barge will be in service during this time. As vehicle capacity is limited and the barge will be operating at slower speeds, expect delays. Car pooling and public transportation are encouraged for this duration.

There will be weight restrictions in place for larger transport trucks.
